Thursday - Today was crazy! I was up at 5:30 making blood-shot eyeball cupcakes for work, Eric was sick, I had a major last-minute deadline at work, and ended up staying until 7:00 p.m. Good thing it's a long weekend out of town. I can't believe I actually took pictures today!

Tuesday - This week has been a tough one already. Alec wakes up in a bad mood every morning and he's really hard to deal with - he doesn't want to get dressed, brush his teeth, or get in the car and the list keeps going. This morning he had a melt down and just screamed and cried. The problem is, we can't tell what's wrong - Eric and I keep saying he's bi-polar. One minute he's fine, being super cute and charming, and the next he's laying on the floor kicking and screaming. I'm hoping this is just a phase and we'll be past it soon.

Monday - Alec and his new Cookie Monster. Alec got Cookie from his "honorary" uncle and aunt last night for his birthday. He loves to feed Cookie the cookies and then watch where they go. Cookie Monster even had to travel to school today.

Sunday - Baking day! I made cookies and muffins this morning in the spirit of Halloween and fall. Alec even helped me decorate the cookies. He ate a few as he went. I did learn a lesson though, make sure you put down a protective covering before giving a toddler cookies to decorate with black icing. The dye in the color left a red shadow on our table. We had fun and it was a good morning.

Saturday - Half Marathon training still going strong. We started the day with a family run - even Alec ran afterward. He may have to try the kid's run in a couple of years. :)
That night, we went to the Halloween Party at the Wonderplace. Alec was really cranky when he woke up from his nap. He was supposed to wear his Halloween costume but that didn't happen. He ended up wearing his overalls and that was about all I could manage. He finally cheered up once we got there. It was crowded but Alec had a lot of fun. He even played a game and got a prize.
