Thursday - Our last night in St. George. Today, we got out and explored around town and Apalachicola . We had stayed to ourselves for most of the trip, so it was nice to get out a bit. We had lunch at Papa Joe's - it's a locals place and really good. This area of FL is rural and everyone is really nice, there aren't many "touristy" places around here so you kind of have to search and ask around for recommendations. Also, everything here is battered and deep fried! After lunch we went shopping for souvenirs. We came back around 3:30 and everyone took naps again. We went out to a local party after at a restaurant - we met a few people and had some snacks. Afterward, we played at the playground again and then headed to the beach for some sunset pictures. We stayed out until after 8. I did laundry and packed up what I could before we headed to bed.
