Friday - This week Yarnell's ice cream in Searcy closed it's doors after 70+ years of business. It's kind of sad for Arkansas, I can remember we always had Yarnell's ice cream when I was younger. Without even thinking about that, we headed to the Purple Cow for dinner. The restaurant was packed and we realized only after we got seated that it was because of the purple Yarnell's ice cream they sell and they were on their last batch that night. So, we ended the evening right with our last taste of an Arkansas tradition.
