Saturday - Busy week and an even busier weekend! Eric and I went on an overnight trip to Memphis to see Kings of Leon in concert. Eric's mom came to LR and stayed with Alec while we were gone.
We had dinner at one of favorite places - The Melting Pot. It's a fondue restaurant that we discovered while we were living in Florida. Good thing there isn't one in AR - it's really a splurge and it's so much food - we always eat too much while we are there. But can you blame us, just look at that dessert!
After dinner, we got back to the hotel - we stayed at the Westin across the street. Great location for concerts but not so much for quiet. Beale street is loud until at least 3 in the morning. Good thing we were super tired and overall slept pretty good.
The concert was AWESOME! KOL really put on a good show. I didn't know a lot of the songs because I've only recently started listening to their music. They had a really cool light show and the whole production was really great. We had a great time.
